Fine Wood Designs is a Yorkshire based joinery and cabinet making company covering all areas of West Yorkshire, North Yorkshire & East Lancashire. Founded in 1994 by Martyn Bell, Fine Wood Designs has earned a reputation of quality craftmanship and as such, the majority of our clients are gained through positive word of mouth recommendations.

We offer a full range of woodworking and joinery services including:

• traditional cabinet making including turning, carving, marquetry and using traditional joints, such as, mortice and tenon & dovetail, where appropriate 
• bedroom furniture including wardrobes, bedside cabinets, wooden beds, headboards, dressers and drawer units
• tables such as dining, occasional tables, coffee tables, nests of tables and telephone tables
• kitchens including fitted kitchens, free standing units, dressers and island units
• doors, windows & shutters including internal and external doors, softwood and hardwood to fit either standard or non-standard openings.  Windows comply with building regulations
• office furniture such as storage units, office desks, bookcases and shelving units
• general storage including TV/DVD units, home theatre units, drawer units, sideboards, wall units and storage to utilise the eves in lofts
• solid wood flooring including Ash, Maple, Oak, Walnut and Beech for floors and stairs
• antique restoration to restore or change the use of old furniture
• all aspects of joinery work from radiator covers, to ceiling beams, to plant stands, in fact any project involving wood is undertaken.

However, as we provide joinery services and build cabinets to clients' individual requirements, all jobs are discussed and assessed individually prior to a specific quotation being provided. All prices shown reflect both the type of wood used and also the time taken to build the individual pieces.
